Blue Heron Montessori is a progressive Montessori early learning setting for children ages 2.5-5 years old in Victoria, BC. Our program is created to truly follow the child, incorporating current research and standards for Early Childhood Education. We do this by blending play-based learning and Montessori materials and philosophies. We are passionate about providing the highest quality of care for young children. Situated in the heart of James Bay, we cater to a demographic that is multicultural and diverse. Montessori is an internationally recognized form of education, where parents can come from around the world and still find the same materials and philosophies they know. As a specialty school, we welcome families who are seeking a beautiful all-encompassing education, experienced through self-guided discovery. We function with low ratios, with 4 educators for 24 children. We acknowledge and respect the l?k?????n people whose traditional territory our children learn and grow on, and the Songhees, Esquimalt and W?S?NE? peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
