The goal of our centre is to create partnership with families in caring for their children. We promote the development of the whole child, with equal focus on emotional, social, physical, intellectual and language development throughout the preschool years. We believe that a secure, nurturing environment assists in creating respectful relationships, and encourages positive social interaction both between children and adults, and with peers.

Central works with community members to provide programming that respectfully engages inner core community members from all age, ethnic, and socio-economic realms that promote services and opportunities to support families and their children. These supports are delivered during and after the school day through the collaboration of the School District, community agencies, and our Community School.

Choo Choo Train Montessori is a Group-In-Home childcare centre located in Richmond Steveston area, providing full-day childcare for children age 30 months to 5 years old. We integrate the best of Montessori and Early Childhood Education Philosophy to help your child to become A WHOLE PERSON – SPACE: Safe, Positive, Accountable, Compassionate, and Educational. The Centre also provides English and Chinese speaking environments to enrich your child’s language development and keep the mother language alive.
